About The Gallery

The Children’s Mental Health Gallery showcases artwork about mental health experiences.

We are dedicated to amplifying and celebrating lived and living experiences of mental health challenges and recovery. We believe in the power of creativity to raise awareness and create hope. From managing triumphs and hurdles, to bringing attention to little-known experiences – we want to make sure that diverse experiences are seen.

The online exhibition has launched as part of Mental Health Week 2022 and will be accessible for 6 months from 10 October 2022 until 10 May 2023.

The Children’s Mental Health Gallery is run by the Melbourne Children's Campus Mental Health Strategy - funded by the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation and supported by the Campus partnership of the Royal Children's Hospital, the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, and the Department of Paediatrics, University of Melbourne.
